Béatrice de Tilière is a professor at Paris-Dauphine University PSL. A graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) and holding a doctorate from Paris-Sud University, Orsay (Paris-Saclay), she previously held the positions of lecturer at Paris 6 University (Sorbonne University) and professor at Paris-Créteil University. Her research focuses on statistical mechanics, with a particular interest in exactly solvable models such as the dimer model and the Ising model. In 2017, she was awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal and was a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France (2017-2022).
Thomas Ehrhard is a research director at the CNRS at the IRIF. After completing a PhD in fundamental computer science at Université Paris VII, he was a senior lecturer at the University of Marne-la-Vallée before joining the CNRS in 1994 in Marseille, where he was a member of the Luminy Institute of Mathematics until 2005, when he returned to Paris to join the PPS laboratory. He was director of this laboratory from 2009 to 2015. A logician specialising in proof theory and the semantics of programming languages, his main areas of interest are lambda calculus, linear logic and their categorical models. In particular, he has studied the links between linear logic and differential calculus.
Frederic Le Roux is a former student of the ENS Lyon and the author of a doctoral thesis defended in 1997 at the University of Grenoble Alpes on The space of Brouwer homeomorphisms. His has been a professor at Sorbonne University and a researcher at the IMJ-PRG since 2011. He was previously a senior lecturer at Paris-Saclay University. His research focuses on topological dynamical systems on surfaces, in particular various variants of rotation sets, symplectic dynamics, and, more recently, the interaction between dynamical systems and the geometric theory of groups. He is also interested in the use of proof assistants in the teaching of mathematics, and is developing the D∃∀DUCTION software.
With a background in law (University of Paris XI) and then accounting (ITEC Bordeaux), Jean-Philippe Domergue worked for 25 years in the private sector as an Administrative and Financial Director before becoming Senior Administrative and Financial Engineer at LAGA (CNRS mathematics laboratory at the University of Paris XIII) for 11 years. He joined the FSMP as Administrative and Financial Director in January 2024.
Gaël Octavia
Responsable de la communication
A graduate of Télécom SudParis (formerly Télécom INT) in 2001, Gaël Octavia initially worked as an information systems engineer before becoming a science journalist. From 2002 to 2008, she worked at the popular mathematics magazine Tangente, where she served as editor-in-chief. She has been head of communications for the Paris Mathematical Sciences Foundation since February 2008.
Célia Chauveau
Secrétaire générale
Having earned a BTS (Advanced Vocational Diploma) in Executive Assistance in 2005, Célia Chauveau taught office skills at GRETA Sud Tertiaire 93 in 2006-2007. From January 2006, she worked as an assistant at the Institut Henri Poincaré, where she was responsible, among other things, for managing CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) projects. In September 2007, she joined the Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris (Paris Mathematical Sciences Foundation) as an administrator and was appointed Secretary General in 2023.
Mathieu Simon
Chargé de projets européens
Holding a Master's degree from Montpellier Business School, Mathieu Simon spent the last six years working in the International Relations Department at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, where he was notably responsible for student mobility and the management of European projects. He joined the Paris Mathematical Sciences Foundation team in June 2023 as a European project manager.
Suzana Vojinovic
Chargée de mission
A graduate in Sociology (University of Serbia), Suzana Vojinovic was a project manager for European projects at the Serbian Ministry of Education and Science, and then, from 2015, an assistant engineer at the CNRS (IPSL) responsible for monitoring expenditures for national and international projects. She joined the team at the Paris Mathematical Sciences Foundation in 2021 as a project manager.
Kevin Ledocq
Assistant de gestion
Holding a BTS "Assistant Manager" and a professional degree in "Business Management and Administration", Kevin Ledocq notably worked at Inria for two years before joining the Foundation team in May 2014 as a management assistant.
Bénédicte Haas
Responsable du programme PGSM
Bénédicte Haas is Professor of Mathematics at Sorbonne Paris Nord University and a member of LAGA. She previously held the position of Lecturer at Paris Dauphine University and the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. She earned her PhD in 2004 from Sorbonne University (formerly Pierre and Marie Curie University) and specializes in probability theory, working particularly on random trees and graphs and their large-scale structures, as well as on fragmentation processes and self-similar Markov processes.
Valeria Banica is a professor at the Jacques-Louis Lions Laboratory of Sorbonne University. She obtained her doctorate from the University of Orsay in 2003, and then was a lecturer at the University of Évry. Her research area is the analysis of partial differential equations.
