Mathématiques en mouvement
A day of mathematics conferences accessible to students, on various themes, illustrating the prodigious diversity of mathematical research.
Mathématiques en Mouvement is a day organized each year by the FSMP with the aim of presenting students with the prodigious diversity of mathematical research.
At each edition, mathematicians mainly from the FSMP laboratories offer short presentations (around 30 minutes) accessible to students (from preparatory class or license), on various themes.
The first edition of Mathématiques en Mouvement was held in 2009. Since the second edition, in 2010, the conferences have been filmed and posted online on the FSMP website.
Editions
For each edition, the videos are accessible on the streaming platforms Dailymotion from 2009 to 2013 and Vimeo from 2014.
The 2024 edition of Mathematics in motion took place on Saturday November 16 2024 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the IHP (11 rue Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 5th). Organized under the leadership of Pierre-Antoine Guihéneuf (IMJ-PRG, SU) and Jérôme Buzzi (LMO, Univ. Paris-Saclay), it was an opportunity to address dynamic systems. The event was under the sponsorship of the SMF. It also benefited from the partnership of the Mathematic Park seminar.
