Math&AI in Paris

The showcase platform for Math&AI in Paris actions.

In particular, you will find the range of training courses, thesis and post-doc offers, news and events related to mathematics for AI in the Paris region.

Math&AI in Paris

Supported by the FSMP and the FMJH (Jacques Hadamard Mathematical Foundation), it is a unifying scientific project in the field of mathematics at the interface with artificial intelligence, developed with the aim of responding to future challenges in AI and making the Paris region a true center for mathematics and AI, with a voice in the international arena and the capacity to dialogue with major international centers.

The PostGenAI@Paris consortium

On the FSMP side, actions related to AI benefit from funding from the PostGenAI@Paris consortium, supported by Sorbonne University (via the SCAI cluster, Sorbonne Cluster for Artificial Intelligence), of which the FSMP is one of the partners.

This project benefited from state aid managed by the National Research Agency under France 2030 bearing the reference "ANR-23-IACL-0007".

The FMJH, for its part, is a partner of the DATAIA cluster.

Doctoral grants in mathematics for AI

The Math&AI in Paris project will offer 5 doctoral grants* over five years for theses in mathematics applied to AI. This funding is in addition to the contribution of the two foundations to the doctoral schools in their respective areas. The selection of candidates will be carried out by the FSMP and the FMJH through their respective doctoral schools. It does not give rise to a specific application procedure.

See Doctoral Programs

* 3 of these doctoral grants will be funded by PostGenAI@Paris and 2 will be funded by DATAIA.
