Programs - FSMP tenders
The foundation implements :
- The « Chaires FSMP » are intended to host one or two mathematicians in one or more laboratories affiliated with the Foundation. All topics in fundamental and applied mathematics as well as in fundamental computer science are eligible.
- « Post-doctoral positions » in mathematics and fundamental computer science.
- Research stays abroad and in the provinces for PhD students. The Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris finances, for doctoral students who are members of a laboratory affiliated to the foundation, scientific stays in external laboratories (French or foreign) for periods up to three months.
- The DIM Math‑Innov : program supported by the Ile-de-France region, is intended for students wishing to pursue a PhD.
- The Cofund MathInParis : European funded doctoral program (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions program))
- PGSM (master) : Master's scholarship program in Paris at one of the FSMP network universities.
- The welcome of high-level scientists, French and foreign. The Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris finances, for external scientists, stays of two or three months in one of the laboratories affiliated to the foundation. These stays may include visits or collaborations in laboratories outside the foundation.
- Actions promoting the development of soft skills (non-scientific and transferable skills) for students and post-doctoral graduates of its programs.
- Other programs and projects including the participation of French researchers in the FSMP-IHP, Maths C2+ programs open to middle and high school students, the Hydrodynamic Instabilities program in response to a call for tenders from the Paris City Hall, and the Sino-French Research Programs in Mathematics to create collaboration between Chinese and French mathematicians.
