Partners of the PGSM Master program
Many French Embassies provide support in the form of co-financing. Partners include (non-exhaustive list) the French Embassies in South Africa and Lesotho, Benin, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Canada, Hungary, Iceland, Kenya, Madagascar, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Quebec, Romania, Slovakia, Togo, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
Additionally, several grants are co-financed by the following three SFRI (education through research) programs :
- Sorbonne Université (SU) (REAL@SU>), 4 years.
- L'Université Paris Sciences Lettres (PSL)-(Graduate program Mathematics and application) 4 years.
- L'Université Paris Cité (UP)-(SMARTS-UP program) 5 years.
The following scholarship will also be granted by our partners:
- One additional scholarship in M2 Maths Fondamentales, granted by the IMJ-PRG, will be awarded to a student enrolled in Sorbonne Université or Université Paris Cité in M1 or in the preparation of the « agrégation ». Applications from women are particularly encouraged.
- One to two additional M1 or M2 scholarships in fundamental computer science Master MPRI or LMFI, financed by the IRIF, can be awarded to one or two students who have completed a year of L3 or M1 within the FSMP network. Again, female applications are encouraged.
- One or more additional M1 or M2 scholarships in mathematics co-funded by the LAGA (Université Sorbonne Paris Nord). The graduates in Université Sorbonne Paris Nord can also benefit from the Ecole Universitaire de Recherche Math & Computer Sciences of this university.
- An additional M2 scholarship for the MPRI Master's program, funded by the Graduate School Quantum Technologies, may be offered. Students will be required to take courses related to quantum computing. By way of example, t hese courses were Quantum information and applications and Quantum information and cryptography in 2024-2025. Interest in this scholarship should be mentioned in the cover letter.
- A scholarship funded by the LPSM (Laboratory of Probability, Statistics and Modeling), for a second year of master's studies in probability and/or statistics at Sorbonne University. Female applications are particularly encouraged. The relevant master's programs are: the Master in Probability and Random Models, the Master in Statistics, the Master in Learning and Algorithms, the Master in Probability and Finance.
- The application to these scholarships is through the general PGSM application process. Candidates may express their interest in one of these scholarships in their motivation letters.
