Sino-French Research Program in Mathematics

The founders of the SFRPM

• The Chern Institute of Mathematics of Université de Nankai (CIM)
• The Fondation Mathématique Jacques Hadamard (FMJH)
• The Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris (FSMP)
• The Institut Joseph Fourier at Grenoble University (UJF)
• The School of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Science and Technology of China at Hefei LIEN EXTERNE INACCESSIBLE (USTC)

Other research centers will be associated with the SFRPM network as partners.

The SFRPM program is co-directed by a Gang Tian (BICMR) and Hans Henrick Rugh (FMJH).

This program is very flexible and is open to all areas of mathematics.

For the 2011-2012 school year, the total budget of SFRPM was 100,000 euros (about 1,000,000 RMB).

The activities of the program have been placed under the responsibility of a scientific committee. This committee is composed of :

• Gérard Besson (UJF),
• Sinnou David (FSMP),
• Jiayu Li (USTC),
• Yiming Long (CIM),
• Frank Pacard (FMJH),
• Gang Tian (BICMR).

Research in Pair

This program will help finance one or two weeks of exchange for a specific scientific collaboration between Chinese and French mathematicians of the SFRPM institution network. A joint publication will be expected at the end of this collaboration.

Intensive Workshop Program for Young Researchers

Pour la deuxième fois, le SFRPM soutient un programme de workshop intensif pour jeunes chercheurs. L'appel d'offre est lancé deux fois par an. Il vise à organiser des workshop intensif pour jeunes chercheurs. En principe, les workshops peuvent revêtir des formes diverses (type Séminaires Bourbaki, de type Arbeitsgemeinshaft comme à Oberwolfach…) Chaque workshop devra produire des résultats scientifiques (par exemple, des notes de lecture, un article de recherche ou un livre permettant de clarifier un travail récent, ...) Le comité organisteur d'un "Intensive Workshop Program for Young Researchers" devra se constituer principalement de chercheurs junior et comporter au moins un chercheur senior chinois et un chercheur senior français appartementa ux institutions fondatrices du SFRPM.
